@HeathwoodPress Politics and corporate policies seem unphased, which I personally find very frustrating.

@JeffreyKeefer This is definitely true on national and international levels. Though, there are lots of alt. groups on regional level..
@JeffreyKeefer ..fighting for change against regional laws/legislation & moving toward challenging or creating new laws nationally.
@JeffreyKeefer For example, I studied a middle class community this summer taking action against a corporation threatening local environment
@JeffreyKeefer We’ve also recently hooked up with some alternative law organisations that consult on how to create ‘change’ legally.
@JeffreyKeefer In the end, what we’re arguing toward more & more is a change of perception regarding concept of ‘systemic change’.
@JeffreyKeefer When looking at practice, start small. Worker co-ops, alt. agriculture, communities working on non-hierarchical org. #ows
@JeffreyKeefer We could also reference open-source groups, etc. on the technological front. Indeed, none of these represent systemic change.
@JeffreyKeefer But they offer guiding examples (sign posts) of what things could look like on a concrete, viable level.
