  • Just presented 3 topics during an all day team meeting. Seemed to be well received. #
  • Getting a latte. Colder than it has been, but beautiful blue sky and warming sun. Nice. #
  • @maniactive Sorry about your lack of sun. NYC has been suffering through that recently as well. #
  • So, no more Mitt Romney according to CNN. #
  • Just got a new work I’d card. My old one started to ring in Bed Bath and Beyond and Macy’s. #
  • Using a loaner computer at work. #

  • Trying to do my French homework, but listening to the early election results, instead. #
  • Going to have cheese fondue for dinner in about an hour. Yumm! #
  • My work computer has been acting up again. This morning it finally made a loud beeping sound and has a blinking red light. Not good. #
  • Bought a multigrain rice bowl and a coffee for $1.58 at the Korean take-out Woorijip in Little Korea in NYC. Amazing bargain. #

Jeffrey’s Twitter Updates for 2008-02-05

  • Ever have those days where you are so busy you don’t realize it is almost over? Ironing now at 11:35 pm. This is my first Tweet. #
  • Just voted. #
  • The archaic votong machine my election district uses in NYC broke, so we all had to use paper ballots. #
  • They gave me a ballot for the wrong party without asking me, so I gave the person an earful about making assumptions. #
  • Running around the building doing paperwork that should have already been done, but the request for it just reached me. #
  • @levjoy At least your voting machine was working. I had to do a paper ballot. #
  • @brlamb Go for it! #
  • @pinoyboy Paczki? #
  • L:New York City #

Why Liveblog Democrats and Republicans?

I love how the Times is liveblogging both the Democrat as well as the Republican races. Of course, being Super Tuesday with 24 states holding their primaries.

Without a central location or event or person, and with such a variety of dates and times and places and candidates, how is liveblogging of any value?

This is yet another example of an issue to bring to my Northern Voice presentation on liveblogging in two weeks.
