Elephant Nature Foundation Has RSS Feeds

Elephant Nature Foundation, the organization in Thailand that I am very fond of (and where I have fostered 2 elephants – Max and Tong Jan) has just started using RSS feeds on their News page. I am very happy that I can now keep more on top of their news stories by having my newsreader check their website every day for updates.

What a simple and free way to get their message out even faster; I think all non-profits and charitable instututions online should use RSS feeds. I hope they begin to advertise this, since there is no indication on their site this now works. I only found it since I was browsing their site with my newsreader, FeedDemon.

  • @RobinYap Hard to believe it has taken the EU so long to enforce the smoking ban. They seem to be so far ahead of the US on other issues. #

Body Art

Adam DemonsAs I love art and aesthetics, what better way to begin the New Year than by showcasing some body art of some friends? My friend Adam decided (finally) to have the back of his knees tattooed, after most of the other parts that he can see have already been covered. With such detail, it is no wonder his wife Mindy loves him! This has even made me begin to consider having something similar done . . .

For Mindy’s part and not quite to be outdone, she has decided to become a cover model. While this is not one of the regular periodicals I frequent (no, it is not peer-reviewed), I am glad Adam pointed it out. However, to save all of you from asking–no, that is not a hairdryer in her hand!Mindy Cover
