Jeffrey’s Twitter Updates for 2008-03-21

  • This is my first Tweet of the day. #
  • I spent the entire day, going on five hours now, revising a 6-slide deck for a meeting next week. No graphics, no animation, and nothing … #
  • Where did today go??? #
  • Colder outside than it should be now that Spring has sprung. Our Global Climatic Changes seem to be making the weather, well, just different #
  • Just heard on the news that the new governor in NY will reimburse his campaign for money he used while meeting with a woman. #
  • He claimed there was nothing illegal or wrong. So, why reimburse the account??? #
  • After the fact, that is! #

  • Ate boxter potato. Delicious. #
  • Misspelled dinner from last night. I ate boxty potatoes. #
  • Running around the building. We have large meetings every second Tuesday, and today is one of them. #
  • @mburtis Which article? Have not read this week’s yet. #
  • @maniactive Let’s hope they do not know something you don’t! #
  • @edwardperry Who are you thanking? #
  • @edwardperry Oh, and welcome to Twitter!! #
  • @Currie Are you moving to a new position, or just leaving an old one? #
  • @coolcatteacher Those were the occasion when I loved teaching the most. #
  • @mburtis Have not seen that yet, but sometimes think the #Chronicle is very forward thinking. Especially compared to many of their readers. #
  • @gapingvoid Not sure if that is a fair comparison. BBC is supported by the British government and mandatory fees http://tinyurl.com/396phj #
  • @gapingvoid NPR is competely non-profit and neither supported by governmental money nor mandatory fees http://tinyurl.com/3bsa5m #
  • @gapingvoid Budget has everything to do with it. Bigger budget means bigger shows which means bigger online presence. Money money money. #
  • @gapingvoid Now, I do like the BBC and listen to it regularly. My point is that comparing the BBC and NPR is like comparing the BBC and NYT. #
  • @Currie Very cool. Do you have some time off between the two commitments? #
  • Computer froze in a conference room and they wanted me to fix it. If I could fix it without losing files Bill Gates would give me lots of $! #
  • Both computers in both conference rooms froze. Hope that is not a sign. #
  • @pinoyboy You still have not said what this new toy is. #
