This may or may not have anything to do with how you are organizing your research, but I have noticed something about public blogging as part of my action research that is different from any research I have attempted before. In other more traditional research attempts, I never had an ongoing unedited record of my observations and discoveries. Everything would eventually be edited, and anything before the most recent versions would be discarded. Now, I (or anyone else) can look back at any point in my blog and read an unedited statement. It is like having a photo album of states of mind…and just as accurate/misleading as a photo album of a physical self.
