What with this being the first time I have had Internet access since yesterday afternoon, I feel a little out of it. #
It took us 6 hours to get back to the city this afternoon. The NYS Thruway and old Route 17 are both still closed. #
@christiepooh We will hopefully be able to drive back today, depending on the decline in flooding between here and #NYC #
Still no Internet or cable. NYSEG and VERIZON have done a great job maintaining their services. #

We have not had cable nor Internet since late afternoon. Wish Time Warner were as good as NYSEG! #
Watching the news, and they said the NYS Thruway is closed, along with NY Rte. 17, both due to flooding. Thus, no back to #NYC for me yet. #

Goodness, all #NYC airports are also being closed tomorrow at noon. #
No evidence out the window of the impending hurricane, but #NYC ordered a quarter million people to evacuate and all transit stops Sat noon. #
Strange how there is a horrible hurricane headed directly to #NYC though outside is a picture-perfect sunny day, even with a light breeze. #
