[…] Does teaching online from a prof's POV mean more work, less compensation and collegiate respect, and worse learning outcomes for learners?   –>Need more narrative and ethnographic studies of participants with online learning; need more training for faculty in instructional design, or hire curriculum designers to pre-ready the courses, and then train the faculty on how to administer them; train faculty and students with webinars and residencies on networking and building social capital in their courses; make the research practitioner and praxis based so learners and faculty see the "significant difference" as applied to the learner's life or locale; unionize adjuncts and/or improve wage conditions for profs who teach online (often adjuncts).  […]
