Jeffrey’s Twitter Updates for 2008-10-18

  • Enjoying the lighting and weather in Fort Tryon Park. #
  • The Heather Garden is spectacular in this light. Lots of pictures to upload to Flickr later today. #
  • Sitting here in the park, I realized I was not breathing deeply. When I did, ahh, the smell of salt water! No idea the Hudson had that here. #
  • Feel some connection with these trees. #
  • Enjoying lunch at the Cloisters Museum in the outside cafe. Fortunate it is still open, as the outdoor season is quickly coming to a close. #
  • Watching some little birds drink from the spouts on a Medieval fountain. #
  • Alas, time to leave the Cloisters and reenter the 21st Century. Will have to bring it back within me. #
  • Just enjoyed a wonderful and early dinner at Trattoria Pesche Pasta; my favorite restaurant. #

Ornament Signing; Final Day in New Orleans

Michael Storrings will be signing his book and ornaments for the second and final day this year in New Orleans today. He will be at the Lakeside, Metairie location, signing his Galatoire’s Ornament, among other New Orlean’s landmarks.

GalMSorn07_enlarged If you miss him there, he will be signing several other ornaments, plates, and such in New York City beginning early November. It is nice to know that quality, European hand-made ornaments can still be found this holiday season.
